A Wakefield
family accountancy firm, Mr&Mrs Accountant is celebrating another member of
its second generation to become a Chartered Accountant.
Thomas Szczepanski is the
fourth member of his highly numerate family to gain Chartered status. He joins
father, Jan, mother Christine and older sister Marie to earn the prestigious
professional qualification.
Thomas, 25 is a former pupil of Thomas a Becket
and New College, and attended the University of Manchester to get a 2:1 degree
in Business Studies.
Mr&Mrs Accountant provides accountancy services for creative sector businesses.
Thomas will be overseeing the delivery of what the family firm calls ‘Internet-savvy’ and‘Do-It-With-Me’ accounts and tax filing service providing a virtual accounts
department for creative firms to do their accounts easier and quicker.
The family firm of accountants aims
to support the growing needs of web developers, graphic designers, video
production and public relations firms across West
Yorkshire.
The company is based at the Wakefield Media Centre, King Street, Wakefield.
Outside of work Thomas enjoys playing badminton, follows
Formula 1 and Sheffield United, and recently completed this year’s Spartan Race in Ripon.
Commenting on his qualification Thomas said: “I’m absolute
delighted that the hard work has paid off, and I’m looking forward to applying
my new skills to help drive creative businesses forward in the future.”
